At the centre of the 14th arrondissement can be found the neighbourhood of Denfert-Rochereau known for its square guarded by the Lion de Belfort; a superb sculpture by Bartholdi, who also designed the Statue of Liberty.

Apt#1, apt#3, apt#4 and apt#5 are located on ave Rene Coty. On passing among the workshops of artists and the squares with gardens, you will reach the Parc Montsouris, which is one of the oldest park in Paris.

The fourteenth arrondissement is also a major movie theater area. Most theaters are located in the Montparnasse and the Alésia areas. Those who like shopping will enjoy the Ave General Leclerc, and especially rue d'Alesia where you can find numerous clothing outlets, and make good deals on major brand names.
